We have had two PNV 57 sets before, but they were a bit different. This set is marked 57E above one eyecup, indicating it as this model. Under this is likely the serial number, 3761. Original Item: Only One Available. This is a lovely set of 1969 Czechoslovakia, produced military PNV-57 Night Vision Goggles with adjustable padded Tanker Helmet with head harness in good condition. We have had two PNV-57 sets before, but they were a bit different. This set is marked ПНВ-57E above one eyecup, indicating it as this model. Under this is likely the serial number, 3761.
The helmet is in fair condition with the goggles and battery pack still well-attached. The straps of the helmet appear to be all retained, and the cords appear to be in good condition. The rubber eyecups of the goggles are still intact as well. There is a small 9-volt battery included, and the set has been properly tested with it. We are happy to report that the set is functional.
We cannot guarantee functionality but we were told by the collector we got it from that is is functional, the set appears to refurbished for use. A very scarce set to find now, ready for further research and display!
